Thank you!

Yes, I live in Hawaii, but not on the island of Oahu, which is where Sea Life Park is located. I have gone there many times though and if you search "Sea Life Park" in my gallery, you can see a few of the photos I took during my last visit. There's one shot of the Wolphin. ;)

I agree with Dave, the dark background does wonders for this! It really makes the dolphins pop out.
One thing I wanted to point out was the composition which is a little bit off but could be fixed with a simple crop if you wanted too. I popped it into photoshop to test a crop, and I think if you crop from the left and bottom side and a little bit from the top (still keeping the 800x600 size) you could place the head of the dolphin in the bottom left corner and still keep that great dark background on the top of the photo. I hope this makes sense!

Thanks Jennifer!
I tried your suggestion. I didn't crop the original photo since I try to not crop my photos unless I really have to, and I didn't even think of the composition. Somehow the dimensions got messed up and wouldn't give me the 800x600 size. But I think I do like it better. I'll be uploading the cropped version shortly. Thanks for the tip! :D

This is awesome, Sarah. I like how it's so dark like this, makes the dolphins stand out so nicely. I like seeing their teeth too. :D

Thanks! I like all those things, too. I was so excited when I realized I had the right lighting to make the dolphins show up on the dark background. :D
