)I'm also hard at work editing and submitting photos. I have one last folder from 2008 then I can go on to my 2009 photos. I won't be running out of deviations for a long while.
Yesterday I broke my favorite glass.
It was tall with green and blue flowers on it, giving off a retro vibe. I got it when I had a garage sale and my best friend's grandma gave us some of her things to sell. No one bought the glass and since I had taken a fancy to it, I kept it.Soon it became MY glass and no one else was allowed to use it. Only I drank from it and every morning I looked for it so i could pour my cereal milk into it. I was also slightly dissapointed when it hadn't been washed and I'd have to use another cup.
I was putting away the dishes to clear the drying rack at lunch and grabbed my cup. I reached for my grandma's coffee mug, but it wasn't balanced in my hand so I put it against my other hand to steady it, not realizing that my cup was still in that hand. I must have been using more force than I thought i was for the two cups crashed together and my glass shattered in my hand. It was a tremendous sound. Glass flew everywhere, on the rug, the counter, and the floor. I just stood there in shock. My favorite glass had broken and it was all because of me.
I'm very sad that I never thought to take a photo of my glass. I really got attached to it and it's so weird to not drink from it at meal times anymore. I tried to recreate the event and it seemed like I wouldn't have needed to balance the coffee mug against my glass. To think that it was possible that this could have been prevented makes it all the worse. Yes, it was just a cup, but it was a sad event for me. I've been wanting to write about it, so I guess it ended up here.

I was staring at a couple of the recent photos I submitted and wondering why the quality wasn't up to par... Suddenly it hit me, with my new computer (actually my brother's old one, new for me tho'
I hadn't changed the settings of how I wanted it to save my images. All it took was a quick trip to PSP and I changed the save options so that it would save all my photos in the highest quality possible. Problem solved! Now we can enjoy viewing quality photos again.That's all for now,
